Zicheng Ethan ZHOU

Plugging into Engineering Innovation Without Ever Unplugging the Self

Driven by the belief that every exploration yields purpose later in life, Ethan operates like a true electrical engineer. From coding a custom bicycle speedometer to producing digital music and playing Tchaikovsky on the violin, he thrives on tangible creation. Skipping a grade to complete high school in three years, Ethan overcame initial cultural barriers by learning to stand his ground and stay fiercely true to himself. As a debater and Hydra football player, he conquered the application season by prioritizing mental well-being over mindless grinding, proving that innovation requires the breathing room to rest and play.
