Quiet Resilience: Cultivating Natural Sciences to Heal the World

Caoyue approaches both science and life with a quiet, powerful altruism. Beyond pure curiosity for macro-evolution, she measured her success by her quiet contributions—from staying late every Friday as class sanitation monitor to waking up at 6:30 AM to read dense textbooks word-by-word. For two consecutive years, she volunteered teaching in rural Yunnan and spent weekends guiding an autistic girl through dance, deriving strength from the children's unbreakable optimism. For Caoyue, mastering biology is never about raw ambition, but about acquiring the tool set to leave the world a gentler place.
